Although I don't have the same problem in iTunes with the iPod.

Re: My New Zune - The Experiment and The Review

"For example I am a big Alice Cooper fan and I have several Alice Cooper albums on my Zune, but Alice Cooper does not show up as an Artist on the Zune, only the albums titles do."

Sounds like your meta-data is screwed up then - which isn't the fault of the Zune. On the Zune desktop software, find those albums, right click on them and select EDIT. I bet you'll see the artist field missing or incorrect. The Zune is only reading what's there.

Jason Dunn
www.zunethoughts.com

Re: My New Zune - The Experiment and The Review

is that why it says up to 5$ on the paperwork they sent me? interesting. i didn't see that it was only 1$ but i did see the maximum of 300$, which i agree is kinda cheap on their part.

who knows one day microsoft might actually get this right and make a stellar PMP.

Re: My New Zune - The Experiment and The Review

re: the charity thing - i'ts $1 not $5 and if you read the fine print it says that they will only donate to a maximum of $300/campaign. Kinda lousy considering the promotions and market research they are gathering.

but i do agree with your blog post 100%. it's a great tool that could have been awesome. Given the right price though, i would recommend it.
